We Applaud Aidan On His Courage to Fight for His School Librarian

Your donations made it possible to support his campaign!

When he heard that his high school librarian was being cut from his Massachusetts school, student Aidan Pasic reached out to EveryLibrary for help saving the position.

We were happy to provide pro-bono resources to help him fight back.

Aidan explained that his Franklin County Technical High School served students from all over the region and that the librarian was an important person on campus.

Aidan had the initiative to reach out to EveryLibrary and other statewide library groups in Massachusetts.

As Aidan said, if he made a move, it would mean one less person standing on the sidelines.

With Aidan's help and determination, EveryLibrary was quickly able to put together an online petition through our Save Librarians website asking the board to retain the position, and in 72 hours, over 250 signatures were collected and presented to the board. The district decided to keep a part-time position rather than cutting it entirely.

A monthly donation of just $5 helps us provide pro-bono support to people like Aidan so they can fight for their libraries.

We applaud Aidan on his courage.

EveryLibrary is here to support libraries with expertise and pre-built templates that are ready to go.
