In case you missed the news from yesterday, EveryLibrary was proud to support the Pennsylvania School Library Association at ALA Midwinter with a rally for school librarians in support of bills in the state that would ensure that PA students have access to their school libraries staffed by certified librarians. We're also proud to host this petition on Save School Libraries sponsored by Follett.
Join us tonight at the fundraiser at ALAMW in Philadelphia.
This rally was critical for school librarians in Philadelphia where there is the worst school librarian to student ratio in the country. We were also excited to see a wide range of speakers at the rally such as Representative, Thomas Murt, PSLA President Dr. Cathi Fuhrman, and one of LJ's two Librarians of the year this year, Lauren Comito.
